My name is Sean Waters, and I am a nominated master-teacher and freelance philosopher with a Master of Arts in Philosophy and a Master of Arts in English Education. I've helped hundreds of people find more meaningful work and more fulfilling lives.
With over 15 years of experience teaching at Colorado State University and performing live music, I founded the Wisdom Workshop in 2020 to help people build better lives through radical inquiry and life-skills development. Much like the adage that you should write the book you want to read, I only create and lead courses that I myself want to take but couldn't find anywhere on the internet. I am not just a facilitator, but a full participant in every workshop I lead.
You might think of the wisdom workshop as a hands-on alternative higher education for the 21st century. These courses are designed to help you practice mindful presence, refine your sense of self, and thrive in your work, health, play, and relationships.
I believe in the transformative power of emergent learning, and am dedicated to creating psychologically brave spaces where everyone is encouraged to attend to their own emerging mastery. If you're curious, you can schedule a
